Loved seeing Emerson with the team today as a new chapter in football has truly began.

From Tresham to Hanwood and with his younger brother in the team too, it resonates the connection we continue to build in our community we call football!

What if…?

…I can fly!
What would I see and where would I fly?

A question challenged by gravity but nonetheless possible
For what dream is not crafted in the mind of of the impossible puzzle 🧩?
The boundary of unknown one step from the ledge
Will you jump, or will you stay on solid ground?
But so solid in our step we will never fly.
And we will never feel the rasping wind 💨 chattering through our ears
Or the sun kissed dusk splashing an eruption of rainbows in the sky

And what of the new dawn over that hill or mountain?
For as I stretch my wings 🪽 and leap to the chasm of uncertainty
The only assurance is to live a life of moments that matter
For better is only so when cast against the backdrop of worse.
For the many contrasts on the horizon and close by
Are curiously wrapped in the kaleidoscope of perspective
And rolled into a world of culture, values and more.
For the intelligence of the unfettered eye of the child
What do you truly see when you close your eyes and fly?
The calm before the storm?
The dark before the sunrise?
The star dancing beside the moon!

Let’s just fly and know not why
For true freedom knows no universe but only natures petals.
Let’s fly and let’s dream for one day we can believe
The power to leap and the faith to know is the blessing that bestows the brave

Fear nothing young eagles, kites, hawks and all.
You see new horizons and so much more.
A piercing vision and calm when alone
Swirling and swashing on the winds of change
Like the surfer blessed in the Hawaiian waves.

We will fly high and we will feel the change
As nature rolls in let’s ride with the waves

Top footballer winning the treble with Whitworths U18s in the Northants Senior League and the older brother of Grayson our thriving U5 going to U6.

It permeates through your hard work 😓. Arriving early to sessions, playing up a year and doing more and being open to failure 😣 as its the foundation to enduring success!

I see no value in consistently showing how great you are as there are levels to this and we are a small part of the UK here.

And you need the right coach and the right environment to flourish.

For what can grow in barren lands where it either rains or shines? Aka you win or lose.

For true winning is in small incremental steps that give us the opportunity to praise the endeavour and see the ripples of elation that travels through every sinew of the players being.

The energy, enthusiasm and excitement was truly electric. ⚡️

Two players scouted to go and play more regularly there and more importantly one was an U5 (future 6).

But that’s not the story…

This story is about continuing to build experiences for these players that really last long in the memory for them and their parents.

The hard work in training away from the glare of such wonderful facilities is also what makes this Fundamental too.
